Advancing better leadership

Project Ascendance is grounded by an initial research study conducted by Artemis Connection on the racial and gender divide in leadership. Launched in 2016, Project Ascendance is an on-going research study on the racial and gender divide in leadership. The purpose of the study was to gain a better understanding of why and how individuals ascend to high-level and management roles within their industry.

Through our ongoing research and collaborations, we are building a powerful body of knowledge and are identifying new ways for women and underrepresented minorities to advance in the workplace.

Our vision is to make the Pacific Northwest a region where women and underrepresented minorities are able to participate in and contribute to our local economy and society in ways that are productive and meaningful to them. IDEA stands for Inclusion, Diversity, Equity, and Access.

Micro-Volunteering

We created a platform that supports nonprofits, K-12 and post secondary groups working towards IDEA goals in their fields by connecting them to volunteers and organizations offering volunteering as a benefit

D&I Workshops

We organize year-round events, where community members can both learn and teach each other about D&I initiatives focused on changing the future.

Shared Spaces

We connect non-profits and other businesses looking for venues to meet with unused, vacant spaces in nearby workplaces.
